New Forlorn Knights drawings

Wan, the maincharacter of Forlorn Knights, might initially seem like a lone wolf. But he has plenty of friends he got to trust, people he will stand up for, and they'd do the same for him. Here is a bunch of illustrations that show character interactions, or portray such that are secondary characters in the story. Each character can be the hero of their own story, something I strongly implement when it comes to worldbuilding. Hope you like it!

Wan and Lythena

An illustration featuring Wan and Lythena in the story Forlorn Knights - Darksome Arising.

Characters of course deserve some good times - and so do the two best friends - so I thought this might be a nice theme for a difference, since the story has some kinda dark moments.

Enjoy, and stay safe meanwhile. 2020 has been a really crazy year so far.

More uploads coming soon. See ya!

Rough forlorn knight character drafts

In Forlorn Knights - Darksome Arising, the IP I'm working on besides client work, there are plenty of characters belonging to the character class "forlorn knight".
Hence as to why there are plenty of drafts which I will show frequently if time allows. Hope you like them! Take care meanwhile and have a great weekend.

Forlorn Knights - Darksome Arising; A vigilante story

Hey everyone! Here are three vigilantes, which are also posted in my other blog that I'm using for the more behind the scenes-content once I get more of my story out. If you want to support my work, please buy me a coffee. ;)

In my story Forlorn Knights - Darksome Arising, in some towns there is unrest and for some reason the king's guards cannot solve the problem with local villains. This is where vigilantes come into play and solve it for them.

Ol' Fist, Impala and Twoblades are three characters in that part of the story.

Mixing in some vigilante/heroes themes into my story definitely creates some benefits for the general plotline. Hope they're fun for you as much as they're entertaining for me.

They appear in one arc, however, if I ever get to make spin-offs then I will make an entire comic series of it.

Hero Versus Villain

Dardracon (person in front) is fighting his villain "Firegold".

Firegold says in this scene:
"Now look at you, so weak... I crushed your helmet, you little jumping jack. You call yourself Dardracon? Then I will show everyone your true identity, and you won't be able to be Dardracon again."

The unmasked hero answers while standing up:
"No... you're wrong. I am always Dardracon!"

Thanks for taking your time to have a look at my images and gallery.

Aeon Chronicles - Final Battle

The Knight Of Atlantis Drakoe Lander fights against the evil Gandrakko. They fight for aeons, a never ending battle between good and evil.
This image is based on a one year old drawing, I had to modify both characters a bit. I mostly worked on this one for practicing coloration. I took my time and didn't rush - I needed 3 days (and worked 5-6 hours per day on it).

In this scene, the final battle between both of my characters has started. In every end of an aeon, they fought a desperate duell against each other. At the year "5000", it will finally end in the story named "The Wanderer 2 - Knight of Oblivion". But Drakoe will learn, that neither good nor evil can be defeated completely...

I wasn't sure if I would like this image after it's done. After comparing it with my older ones, I think, I got the best result out of my one year old drawing. I started an underpainting in Triplex mode and coloured it afterwards.

I still see much I could work out, but I will keep this energy to work on a new drawing/painting. But just colouring older drawings can be a great practice as well. And, to be honest, I wanted to do this image one year ago and never got beyond the drawing-step.
After all I am glad I didn't finish it earlier, as I improved a lot compared to last year.

I will keep on practicing, more relaxed for the rest of this year, but next year I'm going to free my inner beast. I am near the key to do so....
